Maryland
Knife Laws
All
knives are banned from Maryland schools. Dirks, Bowies, switchblades
and gravity knives are
banned
from being carried concealed. Dirks, Bowies, switchblades and gravity
knives are banned from
being
carried in the open when you have the intent to harm someone.
Penknives without switchblades
and
most other knives are legal to carry concealed. There are no limits
to how large your pocket knife
can
be in Maryland and, as long as you don’t use it to hurt people, you
should be fine.

Virginia
Knife Laws
It
is legal to own any type of knife in Virginia.
It
is illegal to conceal carry a dirk, bowie knife, switchblade,
machete, ballistic knife, throwing starts or
oriental
darts, or any knife of a like kind. It is legal to open carry any
type of knife.

Florida
Knife Laws
For
the most part, Florida knife laws are easy. You can own any knife as
long as it is not a ballistic
knife
and, if you keep your knives at home, you should be fine. You can
also open carry any knife you
want.
You can conceal carry any box cutter, multi-tool, or 4 inch pocket
knife. Conceal carry of any
other
type of knife can or cannot be considered carrying a concealed weapon
so watch out.
There
are also local laws outside of this so look up the laws in your city
as well. Most cities in Florida
have
clearer guidelines on what is legal and illegal than the state law.

California
Knife Laws
If
you are in California you can buy, own, transport, and carry any

Pennsylvania
Knife Laws
It
is illegal to own or carry a dagger, sword cane, any automatic knife,
or any implement for the
infliction
of bodily injury, which serves no common lawful purpose.
It
is legal to open or conceal carry any other type of knife in

West
Virginia Knife Laws
It
is legal to own any type of knife in West Virginia.
It
is illegal to conceal carry a dirk dagger, poniard, or stiletto with
a blade over 3 ½ inches long, a
switchblade,
gravity knife, butterfly knife, or any instrument capable of
inflicting cutting, stabbing, or
tearing
wounds.
It
is legal to open carry any type of knife.

New
York Knife Laws
It
is illegal to own a gravity knife, switchblade, pilum ballistic
knife, cane sword, or metal
knuckle
knife in New York.
It
is legal to possess a switchblade or gravity knife, if using it for
hunting, fishing, or trapping, as long as the
person
possessing it has a valid hunting and/or fishing license.
It
is illegal to carry a dirk, dagger, or stiletto with the intent of
using it unlawfully against another.
New
York does not have conceal carry laws, and therefore it is legal to
open or conceal carry any legal
knife.

Carolina Knife Laws

Knife Laws

knife.

is illegal to carry any knife with a blade longer than 4 inches, with
the intent to go armed. It is, however,
